The design for Silk Hope Cottage began with a blank slate, literally all white walls, dark walnut floors, and an expansive open-concept layout that offered both potential and challenge. The goal was to craft a warm and inviting home for a growing family, balancing contemporary aesthetics with a cozy atmosphere.

To achieve this, layers of neutral fabrics and finishes in creams, grays, and light blues were thoughtfully incorporated, lending a sense of softness and tranquility to the interiors. This palette not only enhances the brightness of the space but also creates a serene backdrop for family life.

The homeowners' collection of coastal artwork was elegantly integrated into the design, adding character and personality while maintaining a clean, uncluttered look. Minimalistic accessories further complement the overall aesthetic, ensuring that the space feels both modern and welcoming.
